Here's hoping, Bonnie Doon '21 (unofficial)

Post by Texas » Fri Sep 03, 2021 10:19 pm

After being in lockdown for so long, I'm hoping the Doon trip goes ahead. At the moment the lake is at 73.4% & it's raining.
Usually held on the weekend after Cup day. Weather can vary from stinking hot to a blizzard. If you like freshwater or just meeting other members, keep it in mind. From memory Bonnie Doon lakeside resort chargers $160 a cabin & $39 an unpowered site.
I'll have 2 shots by then so, hopefully we'll be right.
I'm landbased and use lures, worms & corn. Uncle Dave K normally brings some yabbies and some people bring cheese.
Something to ponder over the next couple of months, but, if you want to go and stay in a cabin, I'd book soon.
Cheers Gra
