On a positive note if this happens then there will be a lot more land based locations around Tarwin and Venus Bay.

by the way, have a look at 2030, they are saying all around tooradin, kooweerup, up to rythdale and cardinia will be under water. well i reckon ill still be around in just over 8 years to see that and i bet it doesnt happen.

They aren't saying these areas will be permanently inundated.
They're saying it will be "Below annual flood level."
Big difference between permanently underwater vs. below annual flood line.

It only needs to be at risk from the king tides once or twice a year to make it an extremely inconvenient place to live.
