Gadgets for fishing - that your mates don't have?

A bit of an odd subject, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any unique gadgets that come in handy and your mates say that's a great idea?
Nothing specific - just things out of the ordinary that work well.
For us it's been little things like carabiners and using them with cable ties to hang things on in the tinnie.
Another suggestion is a Laser Pointer to indicate which tree we want to tie up to etc (saves angst amongst the anglers when the driver goes past the spot)
We've (Covid permitting) got a trip coming up to Nelson/Glenelg River in October and it's a bit of a comp between us to see who can bring along something unique and useful.
Any suggestions are most welcome.
