Went to buy a spare spool for my expo 5500h so I could run 30lb / 50lb, was $350 bucks. Got a new Gosa 14xg for $351, now spooled with 30lb Tasline.

Am planning an epic trip for February dependant on border closures etc that should result in a hand full of new rock species.

Will target a marlin off the rocks in march / april at JB.

Where is JB?
Take lots of pictures and videos, hopefully you'll get a marlin or two. Keen to see the action.

I bought a second hand paddle. Not really for fishing just something lighter and more suited for some fitness training. It’s a Meek type A in a mid size. Got it just over half the new price for one of these. So now on top of the std 20 to 40 km I paddle each week end while fishing lI can get out through the week on my sea kayak for some fitness training

Hopefully whiting on lures.
Have already done the first Bream trip for the year.
Purchase wise hopefully more lures, but who knows i can be very impulsive most times

If i got a spare $10k, I wouldn't mind to get this. Nice little boat for me and a mate. And maybe take the mrs every now and then.

If you read the discription i think you will see the owner worked that out pretty quickly himself too.

Yeah, pretty small. I like the 4m or the 4.5m i think, the one with center console. But way more expensive

I’m looking to get a tinny by the end of the year. Nothing elaborate, maybe 4 meters plus a sounder. Limited land based options in and around Venus Bay are frustrating me, definitely need to get out and explore Anderson’s inlet and the rest of Gippsland.
