Maribyrnong Brimbank Park 21/12
Went for a short session at brimbank park yesterday afternoon from 3-5. Was trying for redfin as I am still yet to manage one there, but I ended up with a small EP that was released safely. I assume some of the stocked fish at canning st have been diffusing through the river and it is nice to see them growing there. Fingers crossed they get a taste for carp fingerlings and we can get a more balanced ecosystem down there as a result! I fished with garden worms on a running sinker, though I may have to switch to soft plastics if I keep missing the reddies!
