It was nice weather over the weekend and people were definitely making the most of it. Unfortunately social distancing was not a consideration among many with cafes full and groups of young people car sharing. Even though it's a tiny portion of the population with this virus if people don't follow guidelines we all suffer the consequences.

People are just dumb.

I found out today that a mate I caught up with on the weekend had coronavirus symptoms for the last 3 weeks (!) and is only now getting tested.

He's a school teacher, he's been in a room full of kids almost every day for the entire time he's had symptoms. He's been having meetings with other teachers, been in the staffroom for lunch, and he's been hanging out with friends on the weekends.

So now I'm back working from home and about to get another covid test tomorrow at the drive through clinic.

That goes to show you can be educated but lack common sense.

I can see stage 3 restrictions coming back very soon. People are creatures of habit and these habits are hard to break, I see people everywhere not social distancing, they/we are leaving the State Government little option but to shut down again.

Yeah but people keep forgetting the politicians’ mates. How are they supposed to make a quick buck if everything is owned by the taxpayers?
