What's going on there? 3 nights in a row of 3 hours sleep and my graph on the 4th night would have been a dead straight line for ~14hrs straight!
You must be having vivid dreams of catching kings off the rocks and tossing and turning all night. lol.

The dark blue line is period of actual proper sleep. The light blue line is when you're half awake / tossing and turning. The last night the place filled up with kids starting NSW school holidays and morons playing ACDC on their bluetooth speakers. I fished until 10 then drove home from JB that day, rough few hours at the end.

I bet it was a rough drive home! That's a long drive after 4 days of bugger all sleep.

I did 23 in a row last year then drove home from Port Macquarie. Never ever doing that again.

Here's the sleep log from my last JB trip. Chasing big fish without a boat you gotta be prepared to put in periods like this....

Always wear a lifejacket - The low profile style that are water sensitive and self inflate / spend a few extra dollars and buy a pair of specialized rock fishing boots / shoes - Wear you normal boots/shoes until you reach your fishing spot, then change. Carry an EPIRB for extra safety / Let someone know where you are fishing as well as your expected return time - Letting the Local Police know trip / location detals, and reporting back to them can save time and resources, and, in an emergency, initiate a search that may save your life - My fav spots - Cape Liptrap on the Prom side of the Lighthouse take special note of the tide times - Got caught once and had to climb out, not a pleasant chore // Green-cape - Plus what Bugatti and NEVER NEVER fish alone.

Spooled up the new Kingslayer with some 50lb tasline I had on another reel and took it for a test drive down at the Schank.

First, managed a near perfect FG

Point for anyone who can tell me what's wrong in this next pic

Only landed a couple of little longfinned pike so here's a sunset.....

As has become tradition whenever I buy a bit of stupid heavy LBG gear, I took it squidding on the way home and landed a 3 smallish ones of my local ledge.

This reel is a beast and I can't wait to get into some bigger fish in a month or so.

You bought that reel instead of a kayak?
