I agree, much better to go the low impact route, do what rock climbers do and find a bunch of cracks you can get your fist into

There should be no trouble finding cracks of that nature, however, using ypur fist as an anchoring medium would bring tears the eyes I reckon.

Yeah crack fisting is quite a common technique in rock climbing

I know. It’s like telling someone with a boat go fish off a pier because it’s easier.

I had no idea that is a legitimate rock climbing technique - but I did a google image search for "fisting" and sure enough, it seems legit.
