We ho is saying that on here? I doubt anyone disagrees with the protesters sentiments, it’s just the timing. If this all kicks off again and we go into lockdown then this protest will help nobody. I’m not going to argue about it but with you because you are entitled to your opinion and that’s fine. Checkout Mark Knights cartoon in the Herald Sun on Friday I think it was. Spot on the money.

Those memes and stuff like that mean nothing, facts and comments are cherry picked to suit the argument at hand. Doesn’t help the situation in my opinion.

Mark Knight gets told what to sketch. The reason we were in lockdown was to prepare not to stop there will be breakouts. The amount of people around coastal towns is no different to a protest rally.

This is absolutely relevant here. I spent a good chunk of last night arguing with a an anti lockdown 'covid is a myth' nuffbucket that started screaming WHAT ABOUT THE LOCKDOWN after the recent protest. This person is a member of this forum.

I can take some messenger screenshots if you really need me to but there is probably no need to embarass the guy.

I’d doubt that about Mark Knight but who do you believe these days. Yeah, crowds are gathering everywhere but nothing like the city yesterday. I guess we’ll know in 14 days or so.

I must’ve missed that but I’d take an uneducated guess and say that most agree that the protest is valid but not the timing.

The Herald Sun is Murdoch propoganda.

That's what someone says literally every time there's a protest.

There is no 'right' time to protest, that's the entire point.

Dougie, I’m hearing what you’re saying but who decides that it’s ok to protest? Where do we draw the line? One rule for everyone until this has passed otherwise what other causes are deemed more important than Covid?

And fair enough if you don’t trust the Murdoch press but where do you get unbiased reporting of anything these days. Impartial reporting stopped years ago, every reporter puts their political spin on their articles these days. Sadly.
