landbased fishing comps in vic

G'day all,
im interested in partaking in a fishing competition in victoria, but as i do not have a boat i feel i am quite
limited so i need to find a competition that is landbased, and i thought i would turn to you guys and get any information available.

Always a bigger event!!!!! :-D Pirtek Fishing Challenge - best comp in the world, according to me! If carp are again a target species, just watch the stampede to Coburg Lake! :-D If you can fish there? Anyway, it is worth a look!

Wackool Classic Details

Location
9 kilometers from Wakool on the Deniliquin Rd NSW
Camping
Large camping area on the banks of the Wakool River.
Competition Times
Saturday 7.30am – 6.30pm
Sunday 7.30am – 11am
Presentations and draws for major prizes will be conducted on Sunday at approx. 12.30pm during lunch
Entry Fees
Adults - $80
Juniors (U18) - $30
Team entry $15 extra (3 Registered anglers) Entry also includes: Friday Night BBQ, Saturday Evening Roast Dinner and Sunday BBQ Lunch
Breakfast can be purchased from 6am Saturday and Sunday morning with proceeds going to local Primary School.
