Was all set to go to my landbased KGW spot near Corinella this sat morning until my brother in law invited me friday night to go on his boat and smash the whiting in the middle spit (sat morning). I wish i went landbased, bloody boat fishing!! He embarassed me big time landing 11 KGW 30-40cm to my 1x28cm KGW (released) and 3 flathead 2x32cm & 1x40cm. Same set up, same bait but the buggars gave me the finger. Overall we moved 6 times and the action was slow. Fished from 5am to 10am and only used pipis. Brother in law believes in not giving the fish a choice when it comes to the menu. Back to landbased fishing for me.

PS...At the last spot we tried a mate of mine arrived as we were leaving and i told him all dead in this area, move elsewhere but they decided to give it a go. He text me when i got home to report they bagged 11 KGW and 2 good flathead, was not my day to be on a boat. I know you can't win them all. Bangg
