I found worse hook up rate with whiting circles

Try some KL tonight.
They had safety device on them in bcf , had to get service person to get me a pack...

I used them he other day Matt while drifting for flatties and picked up a few using those rigs. They just hooked themselves

Mate...these things are dynamite on flatties...strangely enough Ive never used them on whiting

You’re right about the flatties. Got a decent feed. The gold tinsel ones worked much better on the day than the red ones.

Up to you what you prefer. Seems some here like the KL’s yet I hate them. I always used long shanks and did well but now I use the Gamakatsu shiner and I’ve bagged out twice the last 2 weeks, I think they’re great

It also depends how they are feeding. Obviously if they’re being picky a circle hook or shiner isn’t the best option.
