Thanks Jim, yes the blade does rotate a little slower from what I was told.. the Mepps XD lures have been around for a very long time it's just that I've never bothered to try them until I decided to get a few from Mepps & give them a go for them.. Picked these up from a garage sale for $2-00 ea.. The one close to the bottom RHS, well I put there dots on it.. :-D The gold/red lure at the bottom is a Daiwa Dr Minnow lure (for $2-00) that alone was worth more than the whole lot put together.. Wow that's cold. Was the water very cold? Trout can be hard to catch when the water is super cold. Yes the water temp was just on 3 degrees, that's why I wasn't overly bothered about covering just on 100 metres of water that turned it into a short practice session..
