Cheers supercomputer

It's been so long between drinks it's easy to forget just how exciting a hot surface bite is. Every cast for 30 odd minutes was boofs, swirls, splashes, pulled hooks, flying lures and a handful that actually stuck.

Re: Stingrays?

Eagle rays are the best to do it with due to their diamond shape. Take off both wings leaving the gut cavity, head and the upper body for the bin. Skinning them is a bit of a pain inn the arse due to the shape and needing to do both sides of the wing but it's not all to much different to shark flake

Bushmans craps all over the aerogard. The 80% gel on the face keeps EVERYTHING away and stops the spray getting up the nose or on the lips (not recommended at all) and both last a few hours even when getting wet

Which then can point to problems elsewhere from possible crap maintenance or none at all. On the motor alone rings could be on the way out, water passages almost corroded through, steering...

Re: Fishing at flinders

If you want Whiting durig the day, then find a lighter coloured patch in the deepest water you can get to. If it's just you and you're polite enough, some of the squid guys will let you fish the sand patches close to the pier while they have their floats drifting further out. If you're fishing late ...
