What type of fishing are you mainly using the yak for?
Each yak has it's positives and negatives; speed, ease of distance pedalling etc..etc..
I use both Native and Hobie, both dominate in their own right.

If you're using an inflatable PFD, you'll need to practice climbing on with it inflated. When the PFD is inflated it's way more difficult/awkward to get back on due to the increase in size.

I've done a lot of rock climbing and setting permanent fixtures into rock...personally I preferred to use Expansion Bolts.
