Re: Surface Plops.

Boofs as the surface strike wouldn't compare to the cod even though the EP's are just as aggressive. Don't put them down, bass and EPs on surface lures are great fun! Sometimes the hits are explosive. Most of the big cod I've caught off the top have been relatively quiet takes - the smaller ones gi...

Re: Peg Board storage solutions.

I've built a few, usually out of a plywood sheet and nails/screws to hold the tools. Keep it simple - don't arrange it for tools you may or may not have in the future, just arrange it for the stuff you have now. Re: New ride

Finally got the boat back after the re-power and took it out for a couple of hours this arvo at Clifton Springs, I'm very happy with the Suzy, so smooth and quiet and the multi-function gauge is pretty cool. I can't wait for the break in period to be done so I can see what it can do. Naturally I too...

Re: Edge rods.

personal opinion and feel of the said rod goes a long way for some. I would back P5 100% with his comment. I have had the opportunity of using a number of Loomis Rods, Wilson Venoms, high end fly rods and over the years reached the conclusion that most of the time good mid range rods match them and...
