Re: Trout Opening 2022

I love the locations man, so good. The fish are also very well coloured. I'd love to go for a walk there and take some photos one day.
Cheers

Re: Selling Hobie Compass kayak camo with 180° and Hobie wheels

I love the Pro Angler, but if I had my time again, I’d get a compass instead. Are you both getting new yaks Sebb, or focusing to another fishing platform? The compass is lighter and simpler. For a quick fishing, it's good, not a lot of storage though. PA is good for full on fishing, but yeah, heavi...

Re: Gippsland Bream

Sensational stuff man, well done and well deserved!!

Edge rods are great, few of my mates have them. The raw carbon blank isn't for me though, I will destroy it in no time.

So is there anything that maps out reefs and wrecks?
Yes navionics will show you the basic wrecks. And also navigational.hazard reefs. Not the reefs that are on the bottom which are not a navigational hazard.

Re: fishing rod reel combo for soft plastics

If you want to save money then look at the savage gear combos that are sold in a box, most bcf stores have them and they are clearing them for 80 odd bucks.
You get a rod, reel spooled with braided line plus some plastics and jigheads in the box.
Excellent value for beginners!!

Re: Show us how you eat it!

FB_IMG_1664267704896.jpg Cooked up one of the squid from my previous post over the long weekend. Made up a basting of lemon, olive oil, parsley and chillies mixed with a mango chilli sauce I bought from the lolly shop at marysville. Threw the squid in for a minute each side, then basted it in the b...

Re: New boat option

Downside is the weight.... There's also the smartwave boats which are made in NZ .lot lighter for the same si...
