Re: Stabicraft / Bar Crusher V's Haines Hunter
I don't get that excited anymore going in different boats, up to the 6mtr mark in fibreglass anymore, I don't really see any startling differences, in either performance or comfort, maybe that's just me. Been in most brands, from Cruisecraft to Haines and recently even a formula. All good boats, for...

Re: Fishing tackle technology over the years.
I've said this before and it will probably cop a fair bit of flake for it,, BUT, modern day fisho's are spoilt by whats on offer now,, and most of it is just advertising gimmicks....... The modern stuff doesn't really make you catch more fish, your lead to believe that thru advertising !! Smoothness...

Re: Suitable offshore tinny/any boat?
The thing is, " suitable offshore boat", being the question, would not be what your looking at. The question, would be,, what's the minimum " suitable offshore boat" We've all been there at some stage, getting something that can for the first time get you out a bit further, fish wider. But, we quick...

Re: Formula 15 Renovation
Jacking plates are good and serve a purpose, BUT, if your at rebuild stage, then raising the transom ( as I have) to take a 25 " is the better option to take for sure. Both options lift the power head up further out of the water, but the extra 5 " makes a huge difference at the back for the reasons ...

Re: Getting on with boat re-build

OR, have the relay up front, ...

Re: Getting on with boat re-build
Just getting back into this again after a wee break for health reasons, not getting much of a break from that of late, but could be worse !!. We were discussing my deck wash above, which I haven't progressed with, due to the above.... but I have to get mt head around this voltage drop thing. I may h...

Re: Covid-19 discussion
I can’t agree about the ABC, in my opinion they are as far left as Murdoch is right. But that’s just my thoughts. We are probably going in circles now. I’d love to fact check but if you scratch then you’ll find a political agenda I reckon. Probably best to quit all media and live in denial. Less ar...

Re: Covid-19 discussion
Hi Dougie, Statistics, are a historical trend, period... Statistics have been proven inaccurate, time after time, they are not an opinion, nor are they set in stone, they are purely a reference record of events, nothing more, a percentage, which change on a daily basis with peoples changing actions ...
