Even without fish its great to get out and fish again, plus I didn't know the BP at Carlsrue sells bait; thanks for the news. I saw that the Upper Coliban has had 20,000 Rainbows stocked recently, so there will be a wall of people there soon. I use to fish a hell of a lot where the Coliban river run...

Malmsbury-Post lockdown trip-Redux

If you are after cod and yellowbelly, I'd keep away from the Malmsbury; it is chockers with carp and roach. Some big trout rising way out though.
