Very much a matter of personal taste but my favourites among the fish I can catch myself are flathead, leatherjacket, whiting and squid. Looking further afield, and ignoring environmental factors, I'd throw in gemfish, orange roughy and Patagonian toothfish.

Realistic photos.

Good day, We have seen some wonderful reports including some great photos but I get exasperated when the fish is deliberately thrust so far forward towards the camera that it is impossible to judge it's real size. For goodness sake, this is a fishing forum. We love seeing photos but they mean a lot ...
