I couldn't see why you shouldn't be able to create something using pilchards, garlic or tuna oil that'd work the same way, shelf life could be an issue though. I think too most of these branded ones add amino acids, which could be a little harder to source.

I'm always sceptical about these attractants. I've fished next to fishos that uses all these scents and I've outfished them every time. Sometimes I wonder if those scents are nothing more than just gimmicks or they're actualy marketed to attract the fisherman more than the fish. That's just my opini...

wondering if anyone has had a go at making their own sfactor or something similar. i want to have a look at getting the stuff on a budget as it seems a bit expensive for what it is. If you use natural biological stuff, without any other ingredients, usually don't last long, eg. blended fish guts. I...
