A Great expert that once had a fishing tackle shop in Wyndham once told me that the Werribee river is one of the most extraordinary rivers in Victoria,he was not wrong. I have even caught Rainbow trout somewhere between Werribee and Melton.

It might be the jighead your using, not sure, a dab of superglue will fix that problem Yea thats what im being told elsewhere aswell, heres the thing the person that showed me how to rig it selected the jig head and the friend i got the lure recomendation off aggreed with the choices so idk right n...

Although I never fished this section of the Maribynong river I have followed the walking tracks in the area and there some nice pools with five minutes walk further back from the bridge toward Brimbank park.

Went snapper fishing twice and caught 1x 5kg and a decent gummy the second time. (Dropped a huge schoolie though)

So it wasn’t too bad for me.

Only got out maybe 10 times but good fish.
