I went out for a flick after a couple of real crap days weather wise and managed to get a couple of nice fish, I Bass went 36cm and was taken on a 1/4oz chatterbait and the others on a jigspin with a plastic.

Smashing a couple of nice Bass
I fished the honey hole for an hour tonight for 3 Bass, the biggest going39cm, the other 2 were low 30's, they hit really hard near the bank, great sporting fish. This is the photo of the big one

Compost worms require moisture to survive, I'd say with everything so dry the worms would have been buried deep but with the rain they have come up. You probably always had them but you couldn't see them, keep it moist but not wet and start adding some veggie scraps and cover the compost you will ha...

Still any reddies left in taylors lakes? Cant seem to find any good redfin spots in melbourne.... You would be better fishing the estate ponds in Cairnlea, they used to have heaps of Redfin in them, as long as there is decent amount of water in them you will get Redfin.
