I tried using those float stoppers and had issues with them. I would cast my line and the float would physically move along the line while in the air. I'd agree that a rattle and or reflective surface could be effective attractant, whether it's better than a normal squid jigs is up for debate. The mirrored flash is interesting, I like the science behind it but I can imagine that plastic/cloth discolouring and losing the effectiveness over time. I ...
