Yeah what lightning said. Breadcrumbs and some water, some tuna oil. I heard dry dog food with water works well too.

I have seen people catching whiting from that small pier many times.

Not sure about garfish, but usually if you burley hard, they'll come.
Potentially whiting might come along too.
There's always squid usually.

Maybe have a couple of floats out for some gars and a couple of baited rods for some whitings?
