i was on magnetic island for the last 2 weeks visiting nan and getting in some fishing. i arrived late Monday evening and i left yesterday. on Thursday the 4th i caught a grassy sweet lip about 45cm and a flathead about 54cm and a ton of baby fish about as big as my hands friday another flathead 47c...

hi, I was wondering if the garfish were still around Mornington or if they had moved of also would it be worth a try of the small jetty for some whiting?
any tips would be greatly appreciated me and my uncle are going down there on Saturday and are hopping to catch something for my sister bday party.

we went down Mornington tried the small jetty got no bites big jetty people had twenty or thirty each in their buckets. i lost one garfish and got two bites other than losing that fish end of the jetty the leatherjackets weren't biting.
