Re: Cornacarpio's Cumulative Carp Culling Caper

Not quite what I was after, but I'll take it!

Ended up with two Eels and dropped 1 Carp, so it was a semi-productive day. Worms did the damage.

Eels always active after a big rain.

Re: Cornacarpio's Cumulative Carp Culling Caper

Got a quick fish in before the rain. Lots of dickie bites before a solid hook-up with a Carp and then an Eel. Re: Tackleworld

Be a tough gig working in the tackle industry at the moment....the world changed after Covid, online shopping killed retail and YouTube is killing commercial TV.

This is no different to usual, but given the water was so low and clear and I could see them all, it evoked a very visceral response, so I dumped the plastic bag wit...

Rowville Lakes Surprise

Headed down on a balmy evening to Rowville Lakes to try some surface lures and see if I could maybe get a feed of reddies. Had a couple of splishes around my lures once the temperature started to drop and mosquitoes began to attack, but no hook-ups. Then, one particularly persistent fish came at my ...

Patterson river fishing report

Well it's certainly been a hot minute since posting on here but I managed a cracking estuary perch today and had to share. I was fishing Patterson river near the mouth with very little luck, as dusk hit I could see something hitting the surface and tied on a little surface lure. A couple of casts in...
