Re: Bemm River report 28-30/3/19

Thats a decent sized opening, hopefully it gets a good flush and starts fishing crazy again soon I kinda found they weren't interested in any lures at all, I could feel...

Re: Does anybody have an Idrive on their car?

They don’t give you more grunt, they just remove the lag in throttle response. let us know how you go with it. I drive a triton at work and when you first put your foot down nothing... after a...

Re: Does anybody have an Idrive on their car?
let us know how you go with it. I drive a triton at work and when you first put your foot down nothing... after about 2 seconds it kicks in and revs hard, its **** house coming out of an intersection if you need to be quick, the ute has reasonable power once the throttle responds so i'm thinking th...

Re: Sorrrento Kingy's basic tips
Go to the Symonds channel and find a deep area, run out tide and anchor up.
Put out 4 rods with large white plastic squid on them-they will float on the top
Wait for hours for a bust up and a hit
Good Luck

Re: Sorrrento Kingy's basic tips
Ok. I’m no expert. I’ve been pretty quiet around here lately. Actually haven’t fished as much as I would have liked (although I did beat 2 PB’s in my last 2 trips). But I did spent 18 months in Sorrento a year or so back. Chased the kings in the rip. We smashed em on our first go (no idea what we we...

A few tannin water wild trout..
I went and chased a few wild browns in a tannin stream on private property near home a few days ago after we had received some decent rain at last. The stream was running beautifully even thought the trout were scarce it was still a nice couple of hours spent in the water again.. best thing is I hav...

Re: Newport Warmies
so this salting trick, is it as simple as just throwing a bit of table salt into a bag of bait cubes? does it take some time to cure? Yep, as simple as that. Kind of. Salt is salt but it comes in different coarseness , from very fine "table salt" right through to coarse rock salt. You don't "salt" ...

Re: Newport Warmies
so this salting trick, is it as simple as just throwing a bit of table salt into a bag of bait cubes? does it take some time to cure? I salt cure leftover IQF pillies and sardines when they're on sale at my local market. Salt curing essentially drains the water out the fish and firms up the fish. G...
