Re: Shoalin shadow knocker fist handline technique revel
I'm interested to see how it will tackle big sting rays. You might struggle a little with that tackle set up. As a kid many moons ago, my first rod was a bamboo branch with 8 lb mono line attached to the end of it with a float and my hook was made of bent sewing needles. I caught garfish, small salm...

Lorne
Went out real early this Morning with the family to Lorne pier, it was a foggy morning but made it there at 3am. Saw a heap of kangaroos on the side of the road just watching you pass. Saw a few fishos there already onto a few nice squid so I decided to try my luck with a 3.0 white jig and soon land...

Re: Lorne
Cheers guys, yeah we had a ball. Must've just been a school of them at that spot at that time so it was just pure luck. Out of the total catch, I only kept one pan size trevaly to cook for my little kids and a few Tommy roughs for bait. Kids polished the trevaly and friends and neighbours shared the...

Re: Question regarding selling my kayak
Post on Gumtree free classified, also this forum is the last place I'd go looking if I was to buy kayaks. Membership cost less than a pint of beer at a pub and it helps keep forums like these going for us to enjoy. Also it's not nice calling us snowflakes, we are more than happy to point you in the ...

Re: Cheeky Bream on Cranky Crabs
It's great to see you've enjoyed a nice fishing session even if it was just little guys. I used to love using crabs for bait till I found out we are not alowed to take them from the tidal zones. I'm not sure if this rule only applies to Victoria and not S.A, might be worth checking out before anyone...

Re: Shimano Quickfire graphite rods 1/2 price
Not bad, they had a sale not long ago where they had the shimano Quickfire and shimano Siena 2500 reel + free braid combo for $69 bux. Rods pretty good, I use it for squid jigging and soft plastic throwing. Thanks for the info mate
