I like the star drag on Denis's Alvey set-up. When a seal grabs the berley pot and tries to make off with it you can wind up the drag and give him a bit of competition.

Re: Electric outboards may be an option very soon.

Great idea just hope the outboards have the ability for long range trips without carrying too many batteries.
