Re: Cork rod handle maintenance, repair and modification

Good job Anth, When you service your reels what oil & grease do you use ???? Last time I greased mine I used automotive axle grease, maybe a bit of overkill, but it worked Recently I brought 10 rods with seven reels, all old & some needing repair Need to teach myself to repair the rods though Cheer...

Re: Cork rod handle maintenance, repair and modification

Anth, you are the Dude. Best DYI thread I have read. Very detailed, very informative and easy to follow. I always wondered how the cork grips were looked after. I second the point about resin/glues. I try and steer away from any that aren't flexible, for any application. Now, I'm going to intention...

Re: declaring your manufacturer/distributor allegiances

So what's your point? I believe the point is to move general chat that doesn't further enrich or at the bare minimum relate to the topic at hand to pm's or refrain from posting it. This thread was about gear preferences and sponsorship and part way through it there is pages of back and forth betwee...

Re: Fishing the Wild on Youtube

They need their own full time show going around Australian don't they Adrian. They seem like really cool down to earth blokes.

The episode where they spend the day fishing with the boys hand lining then getting the boys onto their first fish on a rod and reel is my favorite.

Well done mate. Persistence pays off I never bother keeping Redfin starting to think I should occasionally.
You should start mate. They taste good and you'll be doing the area you're fishing a favour

Cheers, Anth
