St. Leonards peir at night has whiting on the bite or you could try the Barwon river just as the tide turns from incoming to outgoing, that hour window should bet you a whiting on pipies

St Leonards has been going good, plenty of kgw being caught at night along quite a few horse mackerel collecting under the lights. Squid are around, but not as active as it has previously been a few months ago. Still worth bringing a squid jig. You can still get some nice fish in the day, garfish ha...
