Purchased some new squid jigs, was just looking for some opinions on them really and if there should be any other sort of colours/sizes I should get. They're mainly for fishing ppb and will be primarily used landbased. From top to bottom 1. Green jig with red foil 2.5 2. Yamashita white glow 1.5 3....

Good effort mate, nothing better than catching your own food. Have to learn how to catch potatoes now, some chips would’ve been perfect with that.

Dawn or dusk will produce more consistently for you on that ledge. Also if you have a heavier rod and the wind is any good, ti's worth whacking the first little one out under a balloon in the summer months, especially if you're fishing in the morning. St lennys snapper, squid, whiting, makerel, pike, garfish

Been a while since posted a report, got the opportunity to go for a fish with my uncle at st Leonard's pier. It was packed when we got there and we struggled to find a spot but managed a small area in the middle somewhere. Everyone was pulling in whiting and pinkies, unfortunately there was too much...

Breakwall around 250m up - fish in between the weeds in the sandy areas.
I've caught up to 38cm in this area only 2 months ago on a visit
