I dunno much about them but I pulled a 47cm fish out of the local last saturday. Funnily enough I'd hooked a bit of weed and was ripping the lure back to get the weed off and re-cast when the fish smashed it.

Re: First trip to Lang Lang
Yeah they were much cheaper at Springvale from memory, might've been under $10 a kilo.

Re: Diver killed by speeding boat
As far as I am aware there is not any laws that prohibits a boat operater from being within 100m of a diver down flag, the law reads that the boat operater must travel no faster than 5knt within 100m of any diver down flag. In other words just use common sense, avoid divers if possible and If you m...

Re: Electric 4WD?
Yes the original poster was. Politics are a part of life. Fishing has become much more political in recent years and will continue to do so. Do you really think ALP's franking credits policy is a good idea? While I feel for anyone with a small shareholding and not much other income, the vast majori...

Re: BOATING AND FISHING BONANZA AT TULLAROOP
In regards to boats using electric motors, does anyone know what the regs are? Does a petrol outboard have to be fully trimmed up, removed altogether, or doesn't matter? I assume portable petrol tanks would need to be removed, but what if it's an inbuilt tank? This is great news. There's some huge ...

There was another good one, I think it was Fishlife, nice glossy cover, in depth articles (including one by VYak legend Lobo) and some cool trip reports. The rest were pretty ave...

Re: GoFish Nagambie!
Here they are. Two lucky people. :notworthy: The 80k winner was 109.63cm cod. That is 109.63cms bigger than any Cod I have caught :-D My biggest cod isn't even half of that length :fish22: Small world. I ran into that woman and her boyfriend at Wally's Ramp at Portland last summer, they were packin...

Re: Electric outboards may be an option very soon.
They look great. Bring them on. I want one. My question is are they self recharging while running? How long battery last at full revs? How long does it take to recharge at home? How would it recharge itself whilst running? Using a dynamo I'm not sure the laws of thermodynamics work the way you thin...
