Re: Boat Maintenance
Really good advice there. Another item that sometimes gets ignored are battery terminals. Removing any green fur and corrosion and then a light coating of grease works wonders.

WELL DONE MEMBERS
Just a "well done" to members for the posts during the past week or so - lots of interesting reports and information and an absolute minimum of the argument and garbage that proliferates on so many internet and social media sites. Tight lines!

Re: Glenelg River, Nelson - any advice?
Hi Redhunter Have a look at the attached satellite map which gives you a good idea of the water conditions close to the entrance. Once you get into the river proper there are large areas of deep water and some quite spectacular cliffs. Apart from Flathead, recently a Rainbow Trout was caught on the ...

Re: Snapper - Unlocking the Simple Code
Hi Bugs While over many mainly Christmas holidays I had really worked out how to catch KGW pretty much at will and good YFW off the beach when the tides were right, I had very little success with Snapper at Black Point. BUSH FIRES AND THEIR IMPACT ON STREAMS
While there have been plenty of pictures of dead stock, kangaroos, injured koalas etc there has been very little about fish. The only thing I have seen so far was a stream in NSW where the water was 27 degrees and a few very dead (and boiled?) trout. History has shown us that not only heat from the ...

MACCAS RELOCATED
Not a new address for a Golden M outlet! A team has just relocated 35 Macquarie Perch from a drying up hole in Hollands Creek near Tatong. The Perch ranged from juveniles through to adult so obviously have been breeding. They now have a new home in the Broken River. Good to see that action is being ...

MORE MACCAS BEING SAVED
Another good news story - this time the Buffalo River. These Maccas are in excellent condition and obviously survived the fires.
