My guess is for soft plastic fishing mainly ? i would go for the fk you should be able to pick a 2500 for a decent price now.My soft plastic setup is a shimano impact xt with the fk reel i have used this setup/reel for the last 2yrs and cannot fault the reel i tryed the ci4 on the rod and remember ...

Took advantage of the nice weather and went for a land based sesh this morning, fished for about 3 hours for nothing but a plastic with a missing tail. A young Asian teenager managed to catch a micro-pinky but nobody else caught anything.

A gull? Karkarook is like 8km inland, you wouldn't think a gull would be hanging around. Was the white bucket brigade out in force?
