i cant seem to get pinkies on lures they just seem to elusive do you have any advice for the reatrieve so then they will attack and sps to use Mate, go to Brighton use a cut down slim swim with #2 hook and go to the end... The advantage is obvious, you wont get snagged too easily in comparison to the normal jig heads. Not really a disadvantage, but you gotta strike and set the hook a bit firm (since the hook is kinda hidden). Size is crucial i think, best is to go to a local tackle shop and try to mix and match the h...

I used to fish plastics with a 6'6 glass rod and reel from Kmart with mono - didn't catch a thing, when I upgraded to a catana and the sienna with braid I started to really enjoy it, and catch fish as well. I'm just replacing the sienna because ever since it got dunked its gone on a downward spiral...
