Re: Gadgets for fishing - that your mates don't have?
Westvic - how does the Leatherman go in salt water or estuary areas? Is it all stainless? I believe it is stainless. I haven't dropped mine in salt water (yet) but have used it around salt water, dropped in sand and dirt, generally abused it and always cleans up fine and just works. Have also used ...

I always carry one of these... https://leatherman.com.au/products/free-p4 Proper one handed access to pliers, knife, scissors and a few other bits and pieces. Mainly bought for the pliers component. Takes a few goes to get used to it but is a true single handed tool that leaves the other one free to...

Re: Back in lockdown again.
I think they’ll get to 60-70% first dose and give up on pretty much all restrictions, UK-style. Good luck to anyone not vaccinated at that point because even with high vaccination rates the case numbers coming out of the UK are pretty high. I reckon quite a few countries will be following this with...

Re: Covid Vaccine
Pretty much no covid in aus, insept from what we bring from overseas.ect And that is exactly why I got my jab today. Best way to keep the bloody thing out and not risk having to go back into lockdown again is for everyone to get the vaccine. On a related note...I got the AZ shot and pretty happy ab...

Re: chasing bigger cod
I catch a lot of cod in summer - most between 60-85 cm, and almost never any below that. My only tip would be to fish hard up against structure (rock or timber). I use baitrunners, but pretty much lock up my drag for the hook set, because they will be in the snag at that point. Thanks for the tip, ...
