Never fished here before as we normally fish the river instead in Shepparton. Not fussed what we catch but somewhere with good access and safe banks for a 5 yea...

All is working good now and I can finally enjoy my fishing without the constant drama of having to mess around with this stuff all the time. It's amazing how you get the that little bit of confidence back in your gear and y...

Re: Solid session on the Goulburn
I fished the Goulburn in Shepp over the weekend and had much of the same thing with super fast lick plucks on the rod tip. I could not hit the things they were so quick!

Re: Rod and Reel for cod/yellowbelly
Hey there. The important question would be budget. I fish that area abit and have found Trelly's Shepparton staff very good for advice and the times I have had a budget which is cheap they have always come up with a good option. I may see you on the river there one day :) Cheers Jed [/quote] Thanks ...

Rod and Reel for cod/yellowbelly
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a rod and reel for chasing cod/yellowbelly? To be honest I am just looking for something to chuck the odd lure around with but mostly slinging some cheese about as well. Majority of my fishing will be around the Moooroopna/SHepp stretches of the river. TIA!
