Re: Balnarring Session Soon

Wpb in a boat or kayak is quite different to LB. Balnarring is good on a rising or dropping tide for whiting. Burley is good except for the darn toadies that rock up for a feed. Anyway its all part of the fun. Watch out for the marsh/horse flies if you got shorts on. They run horses most early morn...

Re: 50% OFF TODAY ONLY @ your sponsor Specialty Fishing Prod

Just want to say thanks again, can't beat having your stuff delivered (in person I might add) just a day after ordering. Also the free brag mat you chucked in was totally unnecessary but greatly appreciated all the same, will definitely be recommending your shop to any mates looking for fishing gear...

Re: fishing gear and other stuff for sale

Cool, I'll take them. I've been looking for some more cheap gear I can practice with before throwing money at something more expensive.

Can you PM me an address so I can pick them up? Cricket got washed out so I can come by this afternoon or tomorrow.

Re: (Another) Newbie from Bundoora

I was a bit north of that, closer to Campbell Cove. A few little reefs or something showed up on Google Earth so I thought I'd give it a crack. It's definitely considered a fishing spot by a few others just going by all the fishing rubbish left lying around.

Re: (Another) Newbie from Bundoora

Went out to South Werribee today, it was pretty windy to cast into and only caught a toadfish and a heap of seaweed. I guy next to me caught a decent flathead though so I'm probably in the right area. I'll pack some heavier sinkers next time, and I might invest in another surf rod as the smaller one...

(Another) Newbie from Bundoora

Hi All, I've decided to take up fishing again after my first abortive attempt as a kid. I came across this forum while looking for fishing tips and info and it seems like a pretty cool and informative place so I signed up. I'll be fishing landbased (unless someone has a free spot on their boat), mai...
