Hi - nothing wrong with chasing carp. Great fun on light gear - I spend hours chasing them in the local creeks when Im visiting family in the North East.

Plenty of reports of cod being caught on the Goulburn and Broken rivers. Talk to the local tackle shops....

Great fish! There have been a few big cod caught up that way over the last few weeks, I've heard local reports of a few 1m+ being caught in the Broken River as well.

Love fishing for carp - great fun. I learned a lot about fighting fish from carp fishing growing up and I still love going down to the local creeks and weeding a few out.
