Re: This weekend boating
Went to Portland for the weekend, without the boat. The saddest thing was that the Portland bay was like a mill pond when compared to the previous weekend. I did think about taking the boat and dropping a few lobster nets in and having a go. Sadly without the boat no go. Peter Pakula gave his talk a...

Re: New members
I'd be more worried about the older members that have dropped off I'd be concerned about , , , , everyone. Yes compassion, also respect and understanding. Yes there are kids here , , , , Matari a classic example, a great kid and a great member. But what about: *The member who is going through a Div...

New members
It would appear that two new members stopped being active on Monday the 22nd.
Fishon4reel and AzCoy
My guess is both of these members were young and naive about how this forum operates.
I think there are times we need to show some compassion for new members and not scare them away.
Regards
Wolly

Re: This weekend boating
What a boat. WOW But those conditions in the video of 2.22 minutes, equates to 8 pair of jocks that I'd go through  . I'd go through 2 pairs just in this trough :o_0: Barracuda.PNG As for the Tuna Comp. 8 metre waves equates to 7.9 on the Sphincter Scale Better safe then sorry. Wolly, not sur...

This is the boat I need for this weekend. Unfortunately, the Tuna Comp at Portland has been cancelled because of unsafe boating condition forecast,
Some waves up to about 8 metres.

Re: Asking for Clarity within the Forum
I noticed a post but unfortunately missed the boat on replying to it, as that post seems to have disappeared. The above cryptic blank quotes should be enough for Admin and/or those concerned to know which post is being referenced. The comments in that post are irrelevant to this thread and I shall ...

Went out and saw the seals yesterday on Chinamans hut and it was a treat. Hvew been have a fair crack at the fish over last 3 da...
