The 'extremes' of my favourite fishing spot!

Hi All, Just a few old pics to highlight the extreme differences I can be confronted with at different times of the year at my favourite fishing spot. First pic shows a full water level (with my rod showing a snag who is boss) at the start of the irrigation season. No water was flowing in at this po...

Re: Interesting Night

Nice report even if the fishing was slow. A 'country boy' like me who spends a lot of time fishing irrigation channels looks at your pictures with fascination! I guess you take it for granted but - the fantastic beaches.

Re: Lake Eidon fishing september trip

I don't think it would matter what type of cheese you use; just get the cheapest. I have never used it but I know a lot of people successfully use it for Murray cod. I think they may leave the cube of cheese in the sun for a while before using it and this toughens it up for casting.
Good luck!

Re: murray / ovens report

Despite the lack of good fish I think anyone would rather be out there than sitting at home. Can't help you with any reports from the area because I don't fish there sorry.
thanks
