Re: Realistic photos.
Please fellas, I can understand your urge to exaggerate the size of your catch, but if you must thrust your fish into the camera lens, can you at least include some weights/dimensions to put them in perspective for us. Some of us are genuinely interested. What possible objection could you have to in...

Re: Formula 15 Renovation
Gee Ducky, I'm just blown away that anybody could take this project on and do it so successfully. Must give you a great sense of achievement.
By the way, that motor must be close to the max power rating for the hull?
Congratulations, Col.

Re: Mono to Braid Advice
Hi Guys I normally use 2000 size reels loaded with 8lb mono to flick tassie, Celta’s and the odd hard body lure. Reels are due for new line and was thinking of moving to 20lb braid. Would this be a suitable change, would I loose anything in distance with the lighter lures? Can I tie lure directly t...

Re: New, second hand tinny - pinholes
Hi guys, Took my new second hand Stacer SeaSprite out today and I was terrified to find that it had taken on a couple of cm of water on a 4 hour outing. Upon inspection when I got home, I found half a dozen pinholes in the stern floor below the transom, only 2 of them seem to be leaking water after...

Re: Realistic photos.
It really depends on what you want the photos for. Personally I like photos that highlight the fish, showing its colours/markings and character, how big it is is a secondary element and for the most part I'm not to fazed about exactly how big someones fish is and tbh you can usually work out the si...

Realistic photos.
Good day, We have seen some wonderful reports including some great photos but I get exasperated when the fish is deliberately thrust so far forward towards the camera that it is impossible to judge it's real size. For goodness sake, this is a fishing forum. We love seeing photos but they mean a lot ...

Re: Big Bully Mullet
Not sure if this is the same fish as our sea mullet in NSW (Mugil cephalus), but if so, they make very acceptable smoked fish.
The only way I've ever caught one -apart from netting - is by accidentally foul hooking them.

Re: Guess the Species
Try this one. Pretty easy, but I like the colours. colnick.JPG Col. Col, I stumbled on this fish while searching previous searches. And yes I agree, great colours and a cool looking fish. I saved it to file back then and named the file "cool fish" I didn't even know it existed, so it was a pleasant...
