Very nice pinky, beautiful colours on it.
They're still around in some places, I am surprised how many have been taken land based even recently. I got onto a few the other night

Re: Is 20lb braid overkill for a 3-5kg rod?
Like Purple said, if it came with a spare spool 10lb would be ideal, giving you two options that cover much that is on offer around here. If it did not come with a second spool, you can easily find a decent secondary spool for a decent price, at that point, though you may be better off investing in ...

Re: Is 20lb braid overkill for a 3-5kg rod?
What reel are you using? Should be fine if it's matched with the rod. In terms of what you're targeting, I agree bit of overkill for bream. At times it's good to have a few different rod/spools to use that can be used in different situations. I've got an Ugly Stick and a Shakespeare slingshot for fl...

Re: Looking for Fishing Buddy who has a Boat!
Different colours work well in different situations. My favourite is Shimano sephia in white. I like to use dark colours at night, brighter colours during the day and the white sephia is my go to during overcast now. However, you will always need to adapt to the situation, no matter what you're fav...

Re: Nice night for it.
After I posted yesterday I went for a flick for Salmon/Squid to see if I couldn't get some bait for my first Mulloway session tonight. Not the best moon phase for squid, but the conditions were excellent yesterday to get some. Only was able to pickup 2 in the hour I was down on the pier but pretty h...

Re: Nice night for it.
I might be out for hunting some gummies Monday night. That or I try my luck down at Newport/Spotswood under the westgate. Dropped something at the jetty my first trip down there last week before I got a look at it on a 3-4cm long mackeral chunk. Currently trying to convince the Mrs to tag along, as ...
