yeah most people in snapper season that launch from altona / werribee and travell to carrum areas or south channel st leonards....need pretty 4.8 meter plus boat to do it

Hey trolled this morning of raff base got bay trout/ pike . The thing i learned today diving lures catch more fish then metal and 6.50 berkley frenzy catch just as many fish as the $20 rapala :sad:

Decided to fish usual spot Raff base , got thier round 6.40 decided to troll for bit , trolled for ten mins before landing a bay trout , kept trolling for another 20 mins for an other 4 bay trout and 3 big pike. headed to 8 meters for change of tide and using fresh bay trout in hope for gummy but on...

went their last week asked what lures people been trolling for snapper of point cook rafe base , asked one worker and she had to ask other two workers and the one worker a\said i think they use this one , im like their are like 400 lures here and u can only reccomend one

yeah snapper were their at start of snapper season , i now cause somebody must of got for for undersize pinks and their were 4 snapper in water biggest would of been 3kg smallest 20cm or so

Got day off thursday late notice, launch from werribee , not sure if to go straight out deep , or clifton spring channel area or raff base point cook high tide 7.40 , anybody fished any of these areas lately and anybody else going out thursday :sun:
