Short answer yes if it's local shrimp.
Please don't use anything from other areas that will introduce disease to our system.
Eg: supermarket prawns.

Once school goes back after Christmas.
Our fish come out of hiding.
Same as the prawns.
Hopefully they haven't got the white spot disease from supermarket prawns.
From now on the weather will start to calm down.
I find that late autumn and winter is the best time offshore.

Absolutely full on when you find em. Back in the day we used hand lines with dark green brickie string and a halco lure or white plastic lure. Now I can't find the string apart from the bright colours. Also the bag limit was measured in fish bins. Now it's per fish so the bream rod with a halco slug...
