Unreal, I went yesterday arvo @ Mordi pier on rising tide - clear water, perfect conditions... but nothing, others struggled as well.
Will try again but a bit later in the day.
Can't wait to yak again, Mordi pier fishing is somewhat limiting and gets busy too - not just with fishos.

Reporting three snagged squid jigs over the last week, and it seemed ideal earlier today, but they didn't want to play @ Mordi pier.
Perhaps it's the adjustment to the winter land based fishing I'm enduring?

I can't recommend my local one - I'd rather buy online.

What's your budget? Open water (lake) or river/streams? Get 7ft+ for lake fishing and shorter than 7ft for rivers and streams. 2-4kg is versatile, but I'd go even to 1-3kg.
