Re: Launch Spot In Murchison

Thanks guys give it a shot, Murchison is a great fishing destination close to Melbourne but really lacks an easily accessible boat ramp one would think the council would put something in to help boost visitors to the area

Soft Roof Racks

Hi guys hope I’m not asking too many dumb questions.

I am planning on upgrading car mid year to a 4wd Ute so dont want to invest to much into my heap of junk Lancer has anybody used soft racks for transporting a 10ft Kayak?
Are they safe or steer clear?

Not sure to be honest was working along the live of replacing with a similar diameter material with added strength but thinking about it agree 20lb would be overkilll

Yeah I am kind of getting that impression, one of my reels has 2 spools so might try braid on one just to give it a go

Mono to Braid Advice

Hi Guys I normally use 2000 size reels loaded with 8lb mono to flick tassie, Celta’s and the odd hard body lure. Reels are due for new line and was thinking of moving to 20lb braid. Would this be a suitable change, would I loose anything in distance with the lighter lures? Can I tie lure directly to...
