I ended up getting the 9' Revolution at Anaconda (20% discount on all rods at the moment). Braved the cold and took it to a local lake for a cast with a 40g Halco Twister just to see what it was like. Able to cast an absolute mile, way further than I've ever case on the 1-3kg rod with lighter braid....

If you can get a Tcurve on sale the extra $ is worth it but the catana is a rock solid rod.
