Best land based spots on Mornington Peninsular early spring, run in tide

Heading to the Peninsula this Friday and hoping for some land based recommendations on where to go and what to target. I ended up getting the 9' Revolution at Anaconda (20% discount on all rods at the moment). Braved the cold and took it to a local lake for a cast with a 40g Halco Twister just to see what it was like. Able to cast an absolute mile, way further than I've ever case on the 1-3kg rod with lighter braid....
